Maria Bartiromo - the American television journalist and broadcaster who was the first to broadcast direct via the New York Stock Exchange - is renowned for several popular shows that have been extremely successful. Broadcasting veteran with more than 20 years of experience covering economics and business, she played a pivotal role in establishing the television channel CNBC as among the most prestigious on the market in the economy and business segment. It is easy to see that her incredible career being a reporter was destined for the woman. As a teenager, Maria was unable to determine what career path she would like to pursue. The next she wanted to be an interior decorator. When she realized the thrill journalism has to offer, there was no looking at her. She is not only a great journalist, but an example to women looking to make it in a field that is dominated by males. Alongside being a part of the "50 Faces of Decade" she was also the first female journalist inducted into Cable Hall of Fame. She's also a writer as well as a columnist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress in the film industry, TV and on stage since the latter part of 1970. A gifted thespian, she has been actively involved in professional theatre since the past 27. She first made an appearance on stage with an off Broadway production The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in the year 1990. In the following year she was cast in her first TV role in The Perfect Tribute. When she was cast as a back-up character in Basic Instinct the film, her career started to take off. For The Firm, she played the leading female character for the very first time. She was cast opposite Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. Throughout the 1990s she worked alongside some of the most renowned stars in the industry including Gwyneth Paltrow on Sliding Doors Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. She portrayed Dr. Alex Blake on the well-known international crime thriller Criminal Minds.
